Summer Camps

Specialty clinics are held at various times throughout the year.

We offer Summer Day Camps, scheduled in June for 2011.  The first camp is a Novice camp.  The children adopt a horse for the week and are given individual instruction each day.  The goal they work toward is the Grand Finale, a horse show on Friday.  Our shows are judged by someone who is well qualified in the equestrian field.  Family and friends are invited to see the progress their child has made in a week's time.

 

The second camp is an Advanced camp, for those who have ridden before.  During this week they learn in depth the true responsibility of owning a horse.  Each child has riding time each day, grooming, cleaning tack, cleaning stalls, etc.  On Thursday there is a sleep over at the barn for the Grand Finale.

Our lessons are sold in packages of four for $140.00 (eff. 3/1/10).  Each private lesson is a total of 30 minutes of riding time and is designed to meet the needs of each and every student.  Disciplines offered are Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, and Saddleseat.
